Our service wasĮxcellent, our waiter was very knowledable of the food and most helpful This place is wonderful, love the live bands, and the food of course!Ĭajun is my favorite and it was very good. Apparently they can't handle spice in the suburbsīecause I had to add quite a bit of the Jazz "Bon Ton" spice to make myĬhicken fettucine even resemble the way it is prepared down in the city. Location after going only to the 39th street location and found the Olathe I would reccomend that anyone who has had a bad experience with this restaurant in the Lee's Summit, Olathe, or NW KC location to try the one on 39th street before passing judgement. Occasionally the servers are a little slow from having numerous tables but they are always friendly. The food has always been execellent, the servers friendly and the atmosphere lively. I have eaten at Jazz eight to ten times over the past eighteen months and have always had a good experience. My experience has been much different from the others reviewing the Olathe location. Restaurant (my favorite Cajun restaurant is in Wichita, KS) Made them correct it twice!! Clearly not interested in servicing the Terrible.lost our order.then made excuses for errors on the bill. This was our second visit and probably our last. The only bright spot was the boiled crawfish - very tasty.Ĭooked just right with the right amount of spice. Our party of 4 all experienced terrible food! This was a poor excuse for cajun cuisine as anyone who's traveled in the south will know. You'll love the Jazz! Jazz is one of my favorite places in Kansas City to go to hang out, listen to some Jazz music, eat food that is'nt very healthy and consume my alcholic beverage of choice-Michelob Light. ![]() I will not go back.īlackend Fillet Mignon & Stuffed Catfish. I was very dissapointed in the service and the lack of response from the management when we expressed our concerns. This last time I went with a party of eight for a celebration lunch. I have been to Jazz a few times and it was pretty good. Good! I would have to say one of my favorites. I have eaten here three times in the past year - it's that The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and attentive ![]() I've only tried one dish here - but it was great each time But its better than Big Daddy's in the River Market. ![]() However, It's not as good as Kiki's-Bon-Ton in Westport. This is a great place to go north of the river. I love cajun food and have frequented most of the cajun places in town. Notes are qualifiers allowing insight into the reviewer's rating.
